I will remember

Knowing how you make me laugh,
Tell me what's happening,
Saying what I don't want to hear,
Time past yet it still felt so frozen,
The feeling's still so strong,
Maybe I just don't know what's right,
Thinking you would be sure,
But at the end of my life,
Falling back on my life,
At least I went after what I wanted,
At least I knew it was good,
Even though I never really got it,
But it doesn't matter anymore,
So I guess I should thank you,
