Stand up for Singapore!

Where's my treat?

Today was a day of small enduring miracles and heartwarming moments. Just this morning, my mum actually stroked Mimi!!! Yes... Like what Mariah and Whitney sang some time ago, there can be miracles~~~ But all goods things always happen for a reason, as for my mum she only did it on the pretext of getting 4D numbers!!!!

Yes.... People will do anything to get those lucky numbers; some people unearth graves, my mum, on the hand, fought against her fear and tried to pet Mimi into give her numbers(btw, if u wonder how we got the numbers, we just rolled up small pieces of paper and see which one Mimi picked, yessss wahaha~!)

When I got back not too long ago, I sat at the balcony to observe Mimi roaming around there, and my mum actually joined me! My mum, as you know has really big issues with furry moving things. But there she was sitting at one corner of the balcony like a little girl, and everytime Mimi tried to approach her, my mum would almost shrieked and jerk hehe. Luckily, Mimi knows better, and would keep a distance for fear that my mum might just kick her if she went any closer!

"See this Mimi always like to stand up for Singapore one... Come Mimi..... Stand up for Singapore.... haha!", said my mum, meaning how Mimi likes to literally stand on her hind legs.

Now you know why some pet owners have weird commands for their pets....haha!

I knew that my mum is really scared of animals, but she doesn't know why either. Everytime some stray cats come near her, her hairs will stand on ends. Recently, she was walking along a short-cut route in Ang Mo Kio on a quiet Sunday noon and she suddenly crossed path with some stray dogs. In shock, my mum told me she started to run LITERALLY for her dear life, screaming like there was no tomorrow.

Both of us couldn't stop laughing as she recapped her near-death experience. You should never run coz dogs would chase you. But I was so thankful nothing happened to her, and she didn't even tell me about it till today. Luckily in the end the dogs stopped chasing her. Even though sometimes there are communication problems between us, today we were on the same boat. So, thanks Mimi..... Stand up for Singapore!
