Official Road Hazard

Over the holidays, i was lucky enough to rent a car to drive around! Yippieeee!! Usually companies wouldn't loan cars to freshie drivers as the risks are obviously too high. But lucky for me, my driving instructor has a friend who is willing to loan his car :) The rates are very affordable, due to the fact that its a 10 yr old Nissan! Yes GHETTO is the word and though its really an old car, i totally enjoyed driving it the past few days..... make me wanna aim to own one .. bleeah!

It was quite an exhilarating experience... almost knocked into a few cars, getting lost and fetching my friends around.. haha and driving to club. That's something i never expect ;)

As usual, there's always the food segment :) Went to Bugis to pray pray on the second day of Chinese New Year and had brunch at the hawker center opp the Temple. Had Kuey Chap (pig intestines YUM! lol) and the famous carrot cake. The carrot is not bad.... the winning point being that there's like tons of eggs added to the dish! Woot! And it's sweet dark sauce :D

Last week my colleagues and i had to go Arab street to source for costumes for company dinner. The theme was Shanghai Tang.. I was like.. can it be anymore interesting ??!!! The worst thing was, most of the costumes were loan out to other companies who were, incidentally, having the same part theme! Bleeah. Hence we gave up and head to this prata store around the area. The funny thing was, they don't serve pratas, only Murtabaks and Bryanis... One thing i must say, the service was horrible, the waiting was long, and the food was so-so, since they are supposed to have the best Murtabaks in Spore(according to Straits Times).

I had Sardine Murtabak.... To try is Mutton. Do not take chicken, coz there's lotsa bones in it bleeah!

Vintage Signboards make good foodWent Geylang to try the Authentic Scissors Curry Rice, after a certain food guru told me that the Ubi branch was a pirate. It was like 1130pm and there was a constant crowd queuing for it. The coffee shop that sold the rice looked like it was lost in time. The sign boards, fans, tiles and all seemed as if they were there since the beginning of time haha! maybe older than me ba!

OKz.. that was a whole bunch of verbal and visual vomit... All i can say is that i'm trying to have fun while getting stressed at work. Nothing's ever easy but you gotta give yourself some time off once in a while hehe.. take care ya'll and happy pigging!!

Driving to heaven

Busy ppl really don't blog, so much for lifestyle... Anyways, finally!!!!!! Finally, I passed my TP!!!!!!! :) Took it this morning, had to wakey at like 6am, where I was previously dancing away at St James 3 hours ago ahaha (Opps). Initially, due to the lack of sleep, I was quite clumsy during my warm-up session. I thought I was screwed. And what's worse was that my tester looked like this Channel 8 actor who always act as those gangster roles (mustache included), he even scolded me initially when I didn't turned into the right area!!

But thankfully, never judge a book by its cover, he was quite nice later and even told me when to turn. Ended up I had 8 demerit points(compared to 22 previously). He even said that I was quite a careful driver (Smirks).

Work's been tough, nobody said that it would be easy. Perservere.
